with Archivio Bonotto, a contemporary institution dedicated to archiving Fluxus Art. We present
Skyladders, an artwork by Yoko Ono, originally dedicated to John Lennon in 1968. Created to be
performed in three different versions in a party-like atmosphere with ladies with parasols and
binoculars and gentlemen with top hats and monocles, the work and its performance today are
presented in accordance with the conceptual instructions and with the presence of various ladders
that create a forest and pierce the sky. Yoko Ono frequently invites people to participate in an act
involving imagination, whether in her instructional pieces or in her conceptual works of art.
