Greece. Thessaloniki. On the Egnatia road yet everything flows from thousands
Workshops , Greece, Thessaloníki, 03 June 2010
Thessaloniki city, the ancient capital, which is on the Via Egnatia, the link that connects East and West for centuries, Istanbul to Rome.
Greek architecture, Roman, Byzantine: testimonies, along with mosaics, frescoes and sculptures tell an eternity, away compared to the great capitals, but certainly more intimate and educated.
In the chaotic streets, historic sites have cropped oasis of silence and majesty of time. The sea is no limit to chaos today because of countless cars and local revelers scattered throughout the coast.
A surprise to discover!
