Workshops , Italy, Potenza, 31 March 2010
It 's the story of a journey that starts in southern Italy and comes in two abandoned places: Craco in the province of Matera and Romagnano al Monte in the province of Salerno.
In the middle: the green spring fields completely blank of any human activity and those cultivated geometric design space and the infinite horizon, the birds of prey that use the thermal currents to stop flying in search of prey, the villages were rebuilt after the earthquake of 1980, the processions of the barren mountains of heroic effort to devotees carrying holy icon; trees abandoned to the waves of wind and the opening of the hills, the silence of ancient villages perched on steep cliffs waiting, illusory That someone sooner or later repopulated them.
Craco, Sasso di Castalda, Picerno, Baragiano, Sant'Antonio Casalini di Bella, Muro Lucano, Ricigliano, Buccino, Romagnano al Monte.
