Istanbul is a city of chaos and collapse. A light special and unique is what sets it apart, because generating and instrument of decomposition and recomposition of new reality: landscape, architectural, monumental, and not least human. The call to infinity and that ample breath, culturally, opens the meeting between East and West, make Istanbul an unmistakably magical place, in which the light is through in mind that in addition to the heart.
Istanbul is a city that for thousands of years has been the role of focal point in the world, creating bridges cultural, social movements, political and religious, defining and mythologizing the concept of border and unity between East and West.
Of its moments of light remain the historical and artistic heritage, undoubtedly charming and charismatic, unfortunately swallowed by the chaos caused by the millions of people living in an urban area in extension and still almost collapsed.
Of all this swirling and convulsive movement, historical and contemporary, it appears obvious in Istanbul a presence absolutely unique, that only here you can hear clearly and so triumphal: the dominion of the light. The ancients had guessed.
