"The steps of this evolution can be easily detected from the careful transcription of nature, clippings and scenes, somewhat close to the aesthetics so-called" Poiana Marului School”, and then switching to "gardens" and "mysteries" of much freedom to interpret why, in vivid colors, glow, to reach the current stage, centered on another series of gardens and simili-abstract compositions, but with recognizable points in what it is offered to the eye, painted images subtle rhythmic, of great beauty of nuanced expression. " said Gheorghe Vida about the artist's creative approach.
Only two years from its last one-man show opened in this unconventional space, she returns with a unique vision and a special theme - Urban Stories.
There are stories of some events from different cities: Bucharest, and his stray dogs unnoticed fleeting appearances of our eye, but also a 'Tourist in New York " experience or agitation of a New York-er avenue recomposed and condensed into a plastic picture.
Cities she went through in the past are part of a very personal map of the artist and her vision also indicate selective elective affinities painter.
Luminita Gliga’s painting proposes photo-realism elements which are adjacent collage color, contrasts recompose and animate architectural spaces. The stain color highlights the color vibration and the working style, sometimes closely, sometimes gestural expressiveness. The black and the red are arranged firmly, and flat on large surfaces, make it vibrate the rest of the image. Stamp, collage of various objects, all means of expression that Luminita uses demonstrate a postmodern approach, which belongs to the contemporary art exposure.
