After the space shuttle of poetry in Second Life, to celebrate the Centenary of Futurism (5 June to 22 November 2009), with "landing" on the SL of the poems on the fortieth anniversary of the landing on the Moon, "Net-Poetry Reading in Web Cam" itself as a place to meet and exchange opportunities for comparison and presence for poets.
In the "call for entries", addressed to the international network poetic, Catherine Davinio writes that poets are a bit 'as aliens on earth and that poetry is a look at extreme point of view, something to defend in a world approved, may become a planet from which to escape. But poets, welcome on board of the spaceship of poetry, returned to assert their views against the annulment of identities and differences.

On the topic of cultural identity threatened Foundation Mare Nostrum has developed over the years other projects, including Isle of Poetry, collateral event of the 2005 Venice Biennale, curated by Marco Nereo Rotelli, a major happening on the same line by Catherine Davin (Virtual Island), which involved 500 poets from several countries. The collaboration between wheels and Davinio dates, however, until 2001, when it was realized the historic event of the poetry of 49th Venice Biennial: Poetic Bunker, special project wanted by Harald Szeemann, attended by over a thousand poets and artists from the world.
