We are proud to present the first edition of Wannabee Prize international art contest, a
contemporary art competition that aims to give worldwide visibility to the best talents in art.
Unfortunately it is not very common for an emerging artist to attempt an international career and the
chances of consent for his/her work are often subject to regional tastes. Wannabee Prize
international art contest, which will be held yearly, aims to create interactions among players in the
international art system, a concrete and fruitful exchange that will provide a global showcase to
participating artists and real career and growth opportunities abroad. In addition to the cash prize,
the highest award of this contest is a contract for a solo exhibition with Wannabee gallery. I thank all
the participating artists, the jury, composed of representatives of the most prestigious international
institutions in academia, media, art, museums and curatorial field.
