Back to the drawing, Space Photo Cultural Centre House A. Zanussi, Pordenone: once part Trails Illustrated, a show that wants to become an event that is renewed annually in September to give an opportunity for visibility to the tables of illustrators - to tell the truth, so far only illustrators - usually, once published a book or displayed in an exhibition area, back in the studios of artists and other hard to reach audiences.
The idea is to introduce an art form that is usually devoted to accompany the tales, fables and nursery rhymes written for very young audiences: the illustration, in addition to giving new life to the words of an author life of its own, adding details to the story with which she was born, becoming a sort of parallel narrative that enchants the
small player, but not only. The illustration, as any work of art, in fact, has the ability to speak to a broader audience that includes many adult fans who, along with children and grandchildren have the chance to appreciate this art form.
