CARAVAGGIO MMX

Eight reinterpretations in contemporary photography of artworks that maintain the dimensions, the light and composition of Caravaggio’s paintings: a study of objects, symbols and themes of our society starting with an analysis and study of the Maestro’s works. The works are realized with the view camera on sheet flms which have been scanned and then printed on Hahnemühle best quality paper. I decided defnitely to use not the infnite possibilities of digital photography and the virtuous tricks of digital post production.
