A few months after the event at the Emmeotto Living Gallery in Rome, CIOGLI continues its survey of painting, sound and color. Visual artist and experimental composer, through the software he designed and patented (Paint Sound) is breaking new ground and perceptual computing. His method translates sound environmental works / dynamic images where the graphic comes to life through color corresponding to each sound. The artist says: "Many artists before me have tried and made specific relationships between musical notes and color, such as Newton, Wagner, Veronesi and Kandinsky. In my work I have combined these two hemispheres of perception, creating a coding / language became, as a result, an application. "
Scanning the project is divided into four rooms dynamics.
Hall One. CIOGLI part of a block of frames (in appearance) where monochrome describes, from a point of view unlikely, a superposition of lines related to the sequential movement of a figure in space. The projection of one of these paintings, driven by environmental sounds, complete the work through the plastic dimension of color.
Two room. CIOGLI acts directly on the walls with some drawings perimeter, keeping the need to represent the movement of bodies in physical space. A projection on one of these designs, driven by environmental sounds, complete the work through the plastic form of color.
Room Three. CIOGLI acts on three-dimensional objects that come alive by revealing the relationship between sound, color and movement. Well, it is the sound of voices to activate the chromatic mechanism. The singular thing is that for the first time a work of art will be powered by a solar collector.
Room Four. CIOGLI intervenes on the wall with a projection which has the same principle ignition of the other salt. The wall is white, paintings and objects have disappeared but the complete picture we have lived in three steps dynamic.
The picture does not represent the final step but an opening relationship between the work and the technology function. The nature of the project carries the design stage of the painting in the size of the wall, recovering the primitive fifth sign of the real. Hence the third step towards the physical object, animated by a new pictorial memory which declares a process iconography. Until the moment that closes the circle, a final projection in which disappear matter (square), the line (drawing) and volume (objects), in favor of synthesis technology that has the concept nell'unicum bright.
The artist explores the shape inside the space, he feels the weight and volume, energy and load relational. Proceeds by semantic shifts, working on the border between manual and tecnologismi. Clear his goal: to recover the actual size of the object, appropriating the living nature of a shape, a visual designer that applies advanced scientific models with a creative approach and liberating. It is no coincidence that the painting is pure investigative tool, free from technical and material composition. And it is no coincidence that the artist is experiencing the painted surfaces of real objects, so as to connect the virtual residual paint with concrete symbolic of living forms.
