During the event curated by Chris Barlow, a number of selected international artists will exhibit their works.
During the venue some works of my 2011 series works will be visible for the first time. The artworks have been realised at Haukivuori, Finland during an artistic residence.
Digital photography becomes the instrument by which to create lyrical-abstract compositions that can be associated with paintings. The works are the result of single shots and did not undergo any kind of manipulation, interpolation, cut or enlargement showing a purist attitude to photographic technique. The exposed works are part of a project which will be carried on through the years aiming to make a catalogues of the colors of the Finnish natural environment.
My work aims to suggest dimensions of beauty which are not immediately visible. My conceptual, oniric and emotional view is essential in obtaining a non fortuitous result.
