New, preliminary paintings, computer-generated sketches and sound works based on a new collaborative audio-visual project between Leverhulme Artist in Residence, Pip Dickens (paintings and digital sketches), and Dr Monty Adkins(sound compositions) at the University of Huddersfield.
The exhibition comprises a variety of preliminary Works in Progress responding to Japanese katagami stencil patterns and kimono motifs. Resultant works, following research in Kyoto, Japan, are to be exhibited and performed in November 2011.
