Start the Biennale di Ferrara 2010 and kicks off ILLUMINADO THE CITY 'WITH ART. Luci d'artista host a dozen creatives who love to play with light. This is the fourth edition of the most striking that can fit into a cloister, though old, creating a play of colors and shadows in which everything becomes magical. Also this year the festival will host artists and designers who have LIGHT "matter" of their creations, molding it and put it in different ways, but always leading. Light as inspiration and light as an ingredient in alchemy that comes from the discovery of fire today. It has always been an expression of Energy and Power, Strength and Heat of Passion and Emotion. Its colors are in fact red, orange and yellow, but nothing can express herself better and then, through the simple match up to modern neon or LED, can deploy all its beauty and to radiate the "fatal attraction" for our eyes and our feelings. The works will be exhibited are the result of artistic research that is based precisely on this attraction. The "light field" it is an integral and indispensable to make sense of the work itself, both for its practical utility, but above all the emotion and the intrinsic meaning given by the artist. We can not forget the groundbreaking research of Dan Flavin and Mario Merz and Lucio Fontana in which the same cuts, or light tubes have imposed their presence in works of art.
A light that became so writing, speech, taking a self-communicative value as a raw material and an element of which the artist uses more today. The expressive power and emotional that it is the result produced and produces creations ever present artists of great fame and importance.
"Fiat lux!" Becomes an incitement to come in modern and contemporary art in a spectacular entrance and undisputed.
In this wonderful stage show Ferrarese the miracle again with established artists and creative, effervescent or emerging, to give new impetus to the "magic" of the city of Ferrara. From light boxes sculptures / light installations from found objects and reclaimed paintings "incendiary", different materials such as stone, ceramic, iron, steel, wood, cloth, polycarbonate, glass or plexiglass will dress in colors and shapes to create a enchanted evening show in which capture the "heart" Energy Art "enlightened".
Improvisation is also illuminating the evocative dance artist Roberta Bagni, costumes that between music and movement "will fire and light at night (see www.topinka.it).
On the evening of Thursday, September 23, 2010, from 21.30, the exhibition will host the Blues Band Paul Bertelli, Silvia Zaniboni, Luca Chiari and Frederick Perinelli to give new impetus and harmony to the works on display. You are invited tuttu
