"That smell was a mixture of transient and intense, no, not a mixture, a single whole, and also was weak and mild, yet strong and determined, like a thin piece of shot silk ... but no, not like silk, but as a sweet milk, in which the biscuit melts ... things with the best will can not get along: milk and silk! Indescribable smell, unbelievable, impossible to classify in some way, in fact could not exist. Yet there was, in his beautiful naturalness. Grenouille followed him, his heart pounding eager, since he felt that he was not to follow the scent but the scent to have him arrested, and now drew him irresistibly to himself. The fourth round of the annual course on "The Five Senses" is devoted entirely olfactory universe. Twelve artists express themselves through visual art works of the nature of one of the more mysterious and fascinating dimension of perception.
The smells are always invisible presence in our daily life, an intense testimony of places, people, bodies and emotions. The ineffability and delicate scents often contrasted with the vivid memories that will keep them, which can immediately become vehicles of intimate feelings and authentic means of expression agents in the silence and shadows.
After the success of the last three exhibitions on the senses of sight, taste and touch, now the attention is paid to perfumes and essences and will, during the period shows, the opportunity to attend interesting meetings also required to Federica by the expert eyes on "Per-prima" The fascination of myths in the streets of essences. Meetings will be held the afternoons of 29 June and 8 July 2010, at 17.30 at The Art Space Elsewhere, Via De 'Romeo 38, Ferrara.
Inauguration of the exhibition will also have the pleasure of hosting the impressive performance of body painting entitled "The Meditative Rose Dali" artist Claudia Gollini. The beginning of the performance is scheduled for 17.00.
