Sara has created a body of work that reflects how we live and interact today, conveying with passion her own mood and views. Sara’s new work, a series of abstract paintings entitled collectively ‘Impossible Sky’ have been created by her observations of people, their differences, conflicts and endeavours for resolution.

Sara produces work that challenge both her and the viewer creatively and philosophically. Her paintings have been created, mainly through expressive mark making, rather than being directly representational.

Working from photographs she has taken or her own images and sketches, these snapshots of everyday life have been used as a starting point for her paintings which offer a form of escapism, a time to contemplate.
