II International Biennial Competition "Dario Mulitsch"

Saturday, October 2 at the Stables of Palazzo Coronini Cronberg, ideal for prestigious cultural events, has opened in front of a crowded audience of more than 800 people, the exhibition of the artists participating in the III International Biennial Competition dedicated to Dario Mulitsch, sponsored by Cultural homonymous with the aim of enhancing the creativity of local personalities and not, but also to promote the city of Gorizia.

During the paint, were announced the winners of the contest, selected by the jury, composed of art critics and Marianna Accerboni Toniato Toni and Luciano Chinese painter and gallery owner. The 67 works chosen by the jurors already selected on 137 above, derive an increasing number and quality especially compared to previous years, from various parts of Italy (Friuli, Veneto, Trentino, Lombardy, Emilia Romagna, Puglia and Sicily) and from Austria, Croatia and Slovenia.

The jury found it an excellent and great variety in the proposals received, representing comprehensively the various trends in contemporary art, which appeared mainly oriented toward the figure. Happy New to this edition is also the participation of students of the Art "Max Fabiani" in Gorizia, with a section specifically dedicated to young artists of tomorrow, who performed on the theme of sport.

Completed its work, the jury gave a special congratulations to Catherine Trevisan Mulitsch for the passion and sensitivity in organizing cultural events of great quality, which now stand as a very significant reference to the cultural world of the Region. The competition is, in fact, an occasion of confrontation between members of different countries and cultures, inspired by the vision of an unforgettable intellectual Gorizia, Dario Mulitsch, who in life had always been committed to bringing people and places in the sign of beauty and ' art.

1st prize winners of the Municipality and the Province were Luke and Macauda Ivana Bukovac, second ex aequo Sternenfeld von Nico, Andrea Colussi and Renzo Pagotto, third ex-aequo Paul Figaro, Nicola Tomasi and Domenico Gattuso, special prizes have been Gallicchio to Rosella and Aldo, Fame, Maria Teresa mentioned Vaccher, Paola Gamba, Valentino last reported Mauri, Rutar, Vidotti, Velussi, Montina, Morettin, Daniukova, Pavicic Donkic, Raza, Place, Trojans, Silvestri, as well as other selected Acone , Ballarini, bass, Bresigar, Brumat, Cordeschi, Daus, Del Buono, Erzetic, Fons, Frattallone Longo, Gaier, Gallottini, Ghedi, Giuffrida, Gregori, Grusovin Geromin, La Rovere, Miniussi, Pangerc, Pasqualetto, Pinchera, Punteri, Rigonat , Scandroglio Ferrari, Squirting, Snaidero, Tuti, Ugomari, Vallajer, Varnier. The competition is sponsored by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, Province and Municipality of Gorizia, Palazzo Coronini Cronberg Foundation, and for the first time, the Presidency of the Italian Republic.

The works, published by Edizioni an elegant printed catalog of the lagoon, will be visible to the Foundation Coronini until 10 October (open Tuesday to Saturday 10-13 and 14-19 / Sun 10-13 and 15-20, closed Mondays) and the next day, in collaboration with the ASCOM Confcommercio Gorizia, will be displayed in the windows of 50 prestigious shops of downtown, through the arts to involve the entire city of Gorizia.
