Press Release
In his solo exhibition Dessì Monica offers a small selection of his works
tracing a path from one side to an experiment on interaction between the
matter and light, the other in the direction of a real moral and spiritual
forerunner of new languages R03;R03;for a new century and a new culture.
Both will appear very clear in the choice of pieces to be exhibited:
particularly exciting balance valuable player on a perception
of extremely light, which allows the use of glass, and on the other hand, the contrast
only apparent interpenetration between the wood and twisted
glass, color and light.
As for starting a search, the more complex and daring because they have chosen
positive and constructive, it is also expressed in the fact that
the artist "invites" in his own personal two other young painters,
Teresa Coratella Trossi Principality of Rome and Michael Capizzi, Messina,
engaged in a process in some respects similar to hers,
albeit with very different outcomes formal and executive.
Michele Principato Trossi deal with the subject of a new culture,
always through an informal way, sometimes very strongly,
matrices with paintings almost shouted, "but never with pessimistic talk, or negative,
but in a purposeful intention.
Teresa Coratella leaves every expressive color, played with subtle transparency
and here and there calligrams veiled.
Find rhythm and harmony solar
tending to suggest ideas of hope and new.
And 'since it is likely that young authors the full force of their thought can be
take only later, appearing now as a forerunner of contents
social and spiritual hope, whose fertility is likely to unfold gradually.
Of course, it turns out these proposals in front of a net change:
Position nihilistic, negative and bitter of the twentieth century "on fait son temps"
and we are on the threshold of another, different. We hope, with expectation and joy.
