KuZo Cultural Zone

The Cultural Zone is an encounter place for the arts. The idea behind this zone is to create a converging space inside the Festival to enhance Cultural and Artistic exchange between the invited artists and the visitors of the festival creating a creative platform between Latin American and European artists.

The main idea is to displace contemporary art from its institutional context, allowing the artists to develop interactive, participative and inviting projects; creating an easy access for the public to participate, amplify the cultural communication and interact with the artists and the projects.

The Way to the Top
The Venezuelan artist KuZo, lives and works between Berlin, Budapest and Caracas; presents the installation “The Way to the Top”. This structure will be at a central and visible point in the zone. This machine shows a seeming easy way to get to the “top”. Through active participation of the general public to get there, a hierarchic structure in motion!
