"This SACI Faculty exhibition, which is taking place during the festivities and inauguration of the SACI Jules Maidoff Palazzo for the Visual Arts, shows the wide range of SACI's class offerings and the depth and breadth of SACI's talented faculty, many of whom have taught at SACI since its founding or joined the faculty shortly afterwards. Others have returned to teach at SACI after beginning families, and still others are honored guests who are working with us this semester.

The artwork ranges from creative writing performances to animation, design, architecture, conservation, fresco, jewelry, printmaking, photography, drawing, and painting. A lively feast of different talents, styles, and life philosophies, from traditional art forms to the most contemporary practice. It is a real celebration of talent and creativity that reflects the wide and varied influences to which SACI students can choose to work with.

SACI has always aimed to be a school for artists. The work of these talented artists/instructors demonstrates the seriousness with which they approach artmaking and their understanding that true creativity never ceases to challenge and push boundaries. The search for visual reflection, new forms, and innovative ways to communicate is never ending, as is reflected in the work of these continuously developing and maturing artists with whom it has been my great pleasure to have worked for over 25 years. As both educators and creative artists, SACI's faculty members are outstanding. I am delighted to pay tribute to their achievement in this exhibition."
