The first contact with the world of art can prove difficult and full of insecurities especially for young artists. Discovering that talent sometimes isn’t enough and that its specific and often, complicated procedures are to be observed. The courses and workshops offered by stART _ art projects are wishing to facilitate the entrance into the contemporary art system to artists, curators and other enthusiasts. The courses’ goals are to train students in the preparation of promotional materials and organization of their art-work through learning about the main mechanisms of the art market. The educational activities are focused on building the necessary relationships between these goals, through articulated and flexible teaching methods in fields of contemporary art, art marketing, curatorship, project management, promotion and social media, organization and graphic design. The lessons include not only theoretical and practical assignments, but also moments of confrontation between different educational and artistic experiences, in order to facilitate the process of self-awareness and maturation of individual vocations, trying to enrich them with new methods and knowledge of marketing and self-promotion.
