Mad Lillabox - Lucia PROIA

The vernissage will take place Saturday, June 25 from 18:00 at the "Jolly Bar" in Latina,in Piazza della Libertà, 49. It will be accompanied by a food and wine tasting by "Casale del Giglio".
The presentation event will be conducted by Fabio D'Achille.
The exhibition can be viewed daily from 8:00 to 23:00 in the women's event "MAD Lillabox".

BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Lucia Proia was born in Latina on 05/03/1971, after obtaining the Diploma in Art School in his hometown, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome in 2001.
Her artistic career began when in 1991, just graduated from different partecipations to both collective and personal exhibitions, focusing on artistic experimentation through its world of women, always creating a parallel reality, touching atmosphere laden with multiple meanings. Highlights the emotional and dreamy at the same time, sometimes its mythological characters, enveloping them in an aura of mystery, often suspended in an undefined space.
Her studies are directed through topics for the most natural here, where the viewer is encouraged to immerse themselves in unreal contexts, the contours are not sharp and defined, but as surrounded by a surreal atmosphere. The technique prefered is the pastel, and studied in depth several years of his artistic practice, through which best expresses her visual language.
In 2003 she, together with the 'artistic team of Piana delle Orme, the staging of several halls of the museum creating murals and scenes about the history of the Second World War. After this experience, she devoted herself to her painting at the same stage with some murals dedicated to making a real job.
