Biography

The jobs of Carlo De Rosa, is works of visual art, produced on cloth with acrylic, enamel and mixed technique, in expressive abstract style and contemporary language, inspired by rational reflections on the theme of the equilibrium and the opposition of the energies. The wise use of pure colors and the rapid brushstrokes and at the same time light and intense they constitute in fact for the artist, that uses the psychology of the color of Luscher, a mean to express, behind the apparent chaos, the tension of the opposite equilibriums that you/they delimit the space / time and that they mark the reality of the being and the becoming.
Charles De Rosa was born in Naples, in 1952, where alive and she works.
From 1963 to 1965 you/he/she has frequented in his/her city the courses of painting of the prof. Vincent Cacciapuoti, achieving attestation of worth. In the years 1972-74 you/he/she has participated in S. George to they Cremate (Na) to the laboratory "Arts and Works" of the teacher Of Adamo, with acquisition of the title of fitnesser

For his/her formative run you/he/she has been fundamental in the years 1979/1981 the meeting, during a long stay to Cannobio (Great Lake), with George Ferrari and Donatella Berrà, original artists of Verbania, formed to the academy of Brera, with which you/he/she has shared experiences from the iperrealismo to the post-modern one and experimented expressions of contemporary art.
Of particular importance in the growth of his/her artistic sensibility you/he/she has been then the influence of Tony Costa, painter of Sydney, famous for his/her works on the Australian outlback, also known to Cannobio. Works of the artist make part of collections deprived in Italy and to the foreign countries.
To Naples a series of his/her pictures, produced within the project "to Communicate the art", they are visible near the institute S.Tarcisio; to Building S.Giacomo, center of the URP, the work is exposed "Metamorphosis."
