Moving Ideas
Exhibitions, Italy, Roma, 15 May 2019
‘Moving Ideas’ is the desire to share an itinerary in the contemporary, without forcing a single reading. The desire to create a dialogue with visitors, a continuous comparison, without embalming the works in reading that remains unchanged. A "work in progress", because we are dedicated every day, and we will continue in the future, to welcome and witness the new ways that the art of today is expressing in its evolution; paths that force artists to measure themselves with new points of view, with new materials, with new mental processes, with the sense of a society in which the change's speed does not allow slower rhythms of reflection on reality.

In this exhibition there are six selected photographies of Danny Johananoff. The blurred images are an invitation to dream. The scenes presented seem rendered from a historic context and became timeless. Loving challenges, the soul of an explorer has always possessed him. In his own words, "When embarking on a photo expedition, I don't know exactly what I am going to shoot." He allows the lens to open towards the world, capturing moments that are both operatic and documentarian.
