Tuesday 27 March 2018, at 6.30 pm, Atelier_Galleria ARTE IN REGOLA presents Mod'Arte or the art of fashion, a creative project involving three women with different identities and professions, linked by a common passion for fashion and design.
Carla Campea, artist and designer of long-standing jewelry, exhibits her latest collection of unique pieces together with Paola Vanacore, fashion designer and collector of precious fabrics, which for the occasion presents some of her original items. At the event he participates, with some tables illustrated by his project "Fashion Districts" recently published on the international website of the Urban Sketchers, also Marina Misiti, reportage artist.
The exhibition aims to offer the public new and original perspectives, in a mixture of styles and points of view that invite to express in a multiform and contemporary way the concepts related to "making fashion" and "making art", suggesting expressive dimensions and hybrid and faceted crafts.
The "knowledge of the hand" is the subtle thread that links creative jewels made with lost wax, to clothes conceived as "unique" pieces and to sketches and hand-drawn patterns. The need for emotional and feminine spaces to be shared, together with a series of interdisciplinary suggestions to be experimented, delineat here an imaginative and innovative dimension of great charm.
