According to the project is planned SIMULTANEOUSLY, the group show that inaugurates TOP AND BOTTOM May 19, offers a critical reflection born from a comparison with the current national and international crisis, looking for a new engagement between companies and artist. The exhibition curated by Matilda Puleo will present the work of 42 artists asked to produce two sample images of these opposing categories of thought, so as to achieve a meeting of creativity united by the desire to explore the thought from the execution of works as outcome of a shared location.
TOP AND BOTTOM, rather than a traditional exhibition will be like a container that can transform the exhibition space into a hive of thoughts. The collective building Chianina is the fact at a meeting at many levels across many media: visual, literary and performatico. It will consist of over 80 works and simultaneously by a dozen comments and philosophical musings, with a musical reading closely related to the concept of the exhibition and a lecture open between philosophy and music, to be realized in the days that followed the inauguration. The multidisciplinary event more like an agora than a show, will talk about what is high, noble or imposed and what is low, unworthy or simply human, before the economic crisis this could become a crisis of thought that cuts through the thinking heads of which we fortunately still have.
The works of forty contemporary artists from regional landscape - Adriano Annino, Luiza Avellar, Silvia Baglioni, Beatrice Bartolozzi, Marcello Bianchi, Stefano Bonazzi, Laura Ravine, Mark Buzzini, Jonathan Calugi, Cyro Hat, Andreina Giorgia Carpenito, Meri Donkeys, Fabrizio De Masi, Maurizio Di Feo, Francesco D'Isa, Leonardo Ermini, Alessandro Faralli, Simonetta Fratini, Louis Gaudioso, Eleanor Rushes, Gradassi Ilaria, Barbara Lachi, Virginia Lopez, Flavia Luglioli, Manuela Mancioppi, Guta Matai, Antonella Markets, Enrique Moya Gonzalez , Muzakiller Foundation, Otar, Cristina Pancini, Imma Pi, Martha Spring, Vanessa Rusci, Joseph Scapigliati, Baba Scarhead, Tony Tadino, Gaia Books, Paul Toci, Andrea Vannini, Claudia Vincenzi, Amelia Von Grüne - spokesman of a postmodern multi-referential polysemic and culturally, offering a path that reflects on values, contradictions and paradoxes that characterize today's society and how we can decline the up and down in a moment the validity of personal responsibility seems to be questioned.
Artists from the creative landscape of Tuscany, who are confronted with the technology and digital creativity for a universe of icons of desire, surrealism, complaint and civilization. Representatives of a rapidly evolving art form that - while contaminating or expanding the possibilities of painting, photography and graphic design - search placement and proper definition of the visual arts. An exhibition that gathers and presents much material creatively in order to obstruct the public mind and allow them to observe how different the world is, especially when it comes from the stereotype, and it gets to the heart of the debate within. One hundred visual and literary creations, expression of thinkers who express their point of view and come together with our dialogue.
