PARATISSIMA 14 - Feeling different
14 years: not 10 of a child, nor 20 of an adult.
14 years are the beginning of adolescence, the pursuit of happiness, the carefree youth and the fear of the future, looking in the mirror and not recognizing your changing body.
14 years means feeling different from yesterday and tomorrow and therefore feeling the energy of change.
Paratissima is today a teenager, a reality in full transformation ready to embrace evolution.
For this fourteenth birthday, Paratissima returns to La Marmora Barrack from October 31st to November 4th and celebrates diversity: that of oneself and others, with respect to standards and rules.
Feeling different means being open to the world, to dialogue, to evolution and comparison, to continue to mature.
Growing up is never a solitary process and requires the seed of diversity to be fulfilled: accepting differences means having a truthful view of reality, not compromised by prejudices or social dictates.
Today Paratissima is old enough to recognize its own evolution and its own development even if far from feeling adult: the path to do together with the artists who grew up with her and with the new ones that she will meet along her path has not yet stopped.
This year, therefore, the invitation for artists is to decline through their creativity the themes of change, evolution and diversity.
Paratissima awaits you from October 31st to November 4th at La Marmora Barracks!
