Hello Stefan, thank you for your 800+ (actually, I would double that all in all) words ;-) I think, we weave from our inner world to the outer world and back again constantly but are not much aware of the process most of the time. I totally agree with you that photography and painting are different processes; I do enjoy both very much. Each has a different energy and plays on different levels of consciousness, whether it may be conscious or subconscious but both require one to be in the present moment to "charge" the image.
I might write some more on this later :-)
