From the I Love Italy project, an international traveling exhibition that for two years has been moving throughout Italy and abroad with the aim of enhancing and promoting emerging Italian art and made in Italy, on April 12, 2020 in full pandemic from Covid19, I Love Italy TV was born.
Designed by Francesca Callipari, art critic and exhibition curator and Giampiero Murgia artist painter, writer and event organizer, I Love Italy TV is a web TV that wants to promote the talent of Italian artists, through a broadcast that requires the name of "I Love Italy TV - The Rebirth".
Just the title "La Rinascita", on the other hand, reveals the dual purpose of this transmission or on the one hand that of leading to an artistic renewal, thanks to the presentation of new exponents of art to be discovered and followed for the foreseeable future and on the other that of leading to a reflection on art as an instrument of cultural, spiritual, economic and social rebirth.
Especially in a moment like the one we experienced that in one way or another led us to reconsider human existence and its values, the creators of this TV felt it was extremely important to rekindle the spotlight on art and its extraordinary potential, thus guiding the public towards a restart that is possible only if we don't forget who we are.
Too often in recent years Italy has been seen, especially by the Italians themselves, as an image of a country in decline, tried by an unfavorable economic context, a corrupt, fragile and fallen nation, which has nothing more to tell or to to offer. Here, therefore, that a project like I Love Italy TV serves just this ... to remind Italians of our history, our ability to get up and the innate creativity of this country, on which we should focus considerably, in the name of that " made in Italy "which abroad has always been synonymous with beauty, quality and originality.
