KURT SCHWITTERS / 1887 - Kurt Merz / Ecology
For the 130th anniversary of the birth of Kurt Schwitters (Hannover, 20 June 1887 - Kendal, January 8, 1948), the Ophen Virtual Art Gallery Space at the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017, it intends to devote attention as an independent and contemporary event at the "Pavilion Lautania Virtual Valley" Kurt Schwitters and Marcel Duchamp that summarize very well the concept of investigation understood as the privileged place to detect the dreams and utopias that in the metaphysical and mental dimension suggest worlds and collective imaginations. The artist's home studio, the creative dimension, time and space defines an extension to the other, the need to metabolize and transform reality. An invention across the board played on "possible worlds", including the freedom of creation and intelligent totality of making art. In this first international collective dedicated to Kurt Schwitters by Giovanni Bonanno there are 63 works by as many important artists who wanted to share this proposal as border artists on the sidelines of a possible border and divide the official art system.

BIOGRAPHY
Herman Edward Karl Julius Schwitters (Hannover, 20 June 1887 - Kendal, January 8, 1948), from 1908 to 1909 he attended the Kunstgewerbeschule in Hanover from 1909 to 1914 he studied at the Dresden Art Academy. After serving in the army as a draftsman in 1917, he starts his first experiences in cubist and expressionist. Near the Berlin dada current founded his own artistic principle called Merz it will take to all of its creative activities, poetry, collage, structures. His first Merzbilder back to 1919, the year of his first exhibition at the gallery Der Sturm in Berlin and the first publication of his writings in the magazine "Der Sturm". In 1920 he exhibited at the Société Anonyme, New York. It 'was a German artist working in different currents of his time, including Dadaism, constructivism, cubism, and best remembered for the use of cutting-edge media such as sound, collage and typewritten. His works are generally considered precursors of modern facilities and environmental research. The German artist, too, can be considered as one of the greatest exponents of the so-called art of art based on the assembly of waste recycled materials, sought after items in the daily waste, and above all unnecessary. These objects, apparently intended for a purpose, shall be reassessed by Schwitters, who gives life to compositions totally complete and original, both from a formal point of view, both for the innovative reuse, at the expense of an unnecessary appearance. Schwitters was also a prolific writer, best known for the provocative poem An Anna Blume, is the author of poems, including examples of concrete poetry, short prose and satirical writings and art critic posters.
