Inaugurated Thursday, October 20, 2016, at 18:00, the exhibition entitled: "THE UNIVERSE IN BETWEEN LIGHT AND COLOR" that Space Ophen Virtual Art Gallery 2.0 of Salerno dedicated to the artist Alessandra Angelini with 41 works, including paintings, interventions on methacrylate and artist's books created in a time span ranging from 2000 to 2016. the exhibition is accompanied by a critical presentation of John Bonanno.
The artist's poetic vision Alessandra Angelini is placed on the ridge of the trial between music and the universe. In the course of several decades of research the bunting artist has experienced a whole new method of analysis that relies on experimentation in the making. A particular weltanschauung closely linked to science and technology resulting in a priority relationship between music, light and color, elements always present in his search after contamination criteria of technical experimentation and scientific cognition. Through graphics, painting and photographic works and plastics, the artist establishes a priority relationship between musical time and the color-light into a space "imagined." A vision as a moment of fundamental cognitive and emotional investigation in search of the meaning and limits.
BIOGRAPHY
Alessandra Angelini was born in Parma in 1953. Condotti classical studies, he graduated in painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera. From here begins his artistic career, dictated by extreme curiosity that leads to experimentation with techniques and materials, with constant research aimed at the values of the color brightness. The formal process undertaken is linked to the expression of interiority, as a first fabric on which it builds critical thinking towards the real. The artist is dedicated to different forms of expression from painting, from graphics to sculpture, from photography to the creation of artist's books. Of each technique deepens the study and possible associations, creating contamination between processes and hybrid works. To remember is "Photo + Grafie", the series of lectures held in 2003 at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice, focuses on the hybridization between the press and photography. He has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and in the world on four continents, his works are present in important national and international museum collections. Since 2005 he holds the graphics and Techniques of Engraving at the Fine Arts of Brera in Milan. It is part of the Visual Arts Visarte companies Switzerland.
He currently lives and works between Milan and Pavia.
