It opens Friday, April 29, 2016, at 18.00, the international group exhibition curated by Giovanni Bonanno entitled: "WHAT WOULD YOU PUT IN THE HAT OF JOSEPH BEUYS" that Ophen Virtual Art Gallery Space of Salerno dedicated to the German artist Joseph Beuys to coincide with the anniversary of the 30 years after his death, (Dusseldorf, January 23, 1986), suggesting an important group show with 119 artists of different nationalities. In its activities (objects, actions, installations, interviews, multiple, etc.) Saw undisputed protagonist on the international stage. In recent years between the seventies and eighties, the need for dialogue, becomes a priority, often characterized the performance as an opportunity to verbally present its political-religious concept, based on the coincidence of self-determination, individual liberty and creativity. An art as a process cathartic and liberating free transfer from traditional media that relies on the link between art and life-politics looking for a new creative possibilities and organizational man between mystical spiritualism and experimental scientism.
Writes Marcello Francolini in the presentation: "why a hat to remember Joseph Beuys? It could not be more faithful image of that of a hat to make sure you express words-images around the figure of Joseph Beuys. Considering it as a hat, and not so much a hat, then you might agree that it is precisely that hat he always wore, and now no more. It is what remains today, as the latter is more true location of her body. "I covered my body fat to regenerate heat and wrapped him in felt to keep it." So it was, that the Tartars they took him, welcoming him into their medicinal nature, the people rose, raising it to a new life, 16 March 1944.
So he wrote the artist in his curriculum vitae / Curriculum of the works, with which, in a sort of myth of origins, rebuilt a second life, starting from the instant where everything had begun. He carried with him ever since, felt and fat. Now that you felt the same material of his hat, he protects the head as he protected the body. The same hat that now keeps it warm thoughts, released that same smell of felt that sniffed in Crimea being born again. Thus the hat Beuys served to remind him everywhere, something like a weight on his head to keep him rooted to the earth, his own land. His Heimat ".
