From the point of science Mathematics, One Plus One Equals Empty impossible existence. While from another perspective (such as the social sciences) can be assumed to be true, though not being an interpretation which postulates. Without prejudice to the two different perspectives, I try to put forward a view that may have relevance to one or two things.
Questions about the meaning of life will continue to roll throughout human history. Such as, Who am I? For what I have? And what I'm looking for?. Despite not having a definite answer to the question above, many scholars and philosophers still trying to formulate various theories about the search for the meaning of human life since centuries ago. Concerning human existence and the essence of life itself.
Sebaghian people who believe in existentialism, assume that human beings are created due to the formation of human physical labor and develop ideas that formed the soul. The existence of the whole of a combination of physical and human spirit. Associated with meaning, meaning is created through a system of thought that is raised by the very people who mutually automatically when to interact with each other and establish interrelation, both fellow humans or the world around him (including with God). This process is always defined-defined to be something that can be understood and gave birth to certain meanings according to the context of reality.
Authentic self is a human life that is able to "transcend" the problems in finding self and the meaning of life is "intact". In a personal constellation, "rebellion" can only be an attempt to go beyond the things, especially things that are considered related to blocking. Then realized it or not, human creativity is required to lift the veil veil themselves and life. In another sense, "rebellion" in life is to be brave to accept and face the problem.
As being able to think, learn, live and then applied in every day life, humans have to fight life's most meaningful life goals that are considered valuable. Like having the freedom, opportunity and confidence towards life journey that led to what is expected. One factor is the interaction and interrelation build positive interactions, and implement positive behavior and actions in the real
Bastaman (1996) suggested that individuals who live their lives as meaningful life showing life passionate and optimistic, purposeful life and aims, able to adapt while still maintaining their identity, and able to take the wisdom behind the events. Individual success makes life more meaningful through the activity of mindfulness to seek and find meaning and purpose in life that followed efforts to realize the potential of a positive private individuals, so as to make life more purposeful. While Frankl (2003) defines it as a situation in which an individual can live his life as a meaningful life with the understanding that in any event the important things in life are precious and meaningful, so that people find a reason to stay alive.
Undeniably, Who am I? For what I have? And what I'm looking for? give an answer that is very subjective. Regardless of the subjectivity, the meaning of life and life will be owned by the individual if he knew the meaning of life and realize what he was engaged. Having a vision of life and of hope is a logical reason to stay alive with a meaningful value. Furthermore, with regard to writing the title of my paintings this project (One Plus One Equals Empty) is "One"-the creation of a Freedom of will (free will and attitude), "Plus One"-Will to meaning (desire to make sense of that life is very meaningful, valuable and useful), and "Just By Zero"-is the Meaning of life (meaning life gives special value to individuals, although it remains to be subjective).
Then the argument above is capable of interpreting "One Plus One Equals Empty" as a whole? Or is he just one of the "Sign" of the one thousand mark that characterizes the reality of life? I invite the reader to explore along with the journey of our lives each step - each.
