Faith

The earth rotates on its axis,
The result is one night and one day.
How do you explain it with reason
Each year brings us closer to faith.

The earth moves as it rotates on its axis
Three hundred sixty four days of the year
The weather shifts temperature seasons
Still closer we move to our faith

Each day there’s a birth in a season
Each day there’s a death just the same
And the world changes time for a reason
To teach us a lesson in faith.

The agnostics think science has answers
The Others look at religion and think
There’s no answer for life as we know it
There’s no answer for life that we see.
Faith is the answer we treasure.
And God made it happen that way.
