Rules:
Article 1 : PURPOSE
The Award FBO Montecatini painting , organized by Matilde Calamai , Ledo Fabbri and Letizia Melani and sponsored by the Family Banker Office of Banca Mediolanum Montecatini aims to enhance , promote and give visibility to emerging artists and contemporary art in general.
Of all the participants in the contest will be chosen fifteen ( 15) finalists whose works will be exhibited in a group exhibition that will be held in the space of the Family Banker Office of Banca Mediolanum Montecatini .
Among the fifteen selected will be appointed one winner chosen dall'insindacabile the jury from the technical and organizational .
It 'also provided a prize for their favorite artwork from the public, who will have the chance to see it, rate it and comment on it directly on the Facebook page :

Article 2: THEME
The theme that participants must meet to qualify for the competition is that the banking world : " I WANT THE BANK ." Topics that every candidate will process and interpret at will justify their choice with a few lines of presentation of the work .
Article 3: TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The competition is open exclusively paintings , without limitation style ( figurative works , abstract , informal etc. . ) Technique (oil , tempera, acrylic, industrial paint , mixed media , etc. ) and support (canvas , paper, wood , plastic, iron , etc. . ) .
The maximum size allowed for each side is 100 cm .
Article 4: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Is open to all artists and older , regardless of age, gender, nationality or other qualification , which display one or more paintings (see Section 6 ) related to the topic discussed . You can submit new works created or created , provided they have not won other prizes or contests.
Article 5 : DATES AND DEADLINES
Start publishing works on- line: 05/04/2014
Closing date for entries to the competition: 06/20/2014 by 12:00 .
Last work day of voting preferred online : until 20.06.2014 by 12:00 .
Opening Group Exhibition of the top 15 finalists and Vernissage with Award Winner at the Family Banker Office of Banca Mediolanum , Corso Matteotti 109 Montecatini Terme : 01/07/2014
Personal Exhibition of the winner to be determined.
Article 6: HOW TO APPLY
Artists can enter the competition : by 12:00 on 20/ 06 /2014 , by sending concorsofbomontecatini@gmail.com the necessary documentation to completion of enrollment which includes:
1) Short biography of the artist - training , professional information , website, contacts, etc. - in PDF format (maximum 1000 characters including spaces).
2 ) Picture the work / and nominee / s in jpg format with a resolution of at least 300 dpi ( the file name as follows: " Name Surname Artist , Title, Medium , Size , Anno.jpg " )
3 ) Technical description of the work
4) An explanation of the link between the work / e and the theme of the competition
(maximum 1000 characters including spaces).
N.B. The missing entries of the above information will not be taken into account.
The material provided in the entry will not be returned.
Article 7 : MEMBERSHIP
Entry to the competition is free.
8: AWARDS
The competition is divided into three phases:
1) before selection by the jury of fifteen ( 15) finalists
2 ) award ceremony decreed by the Jury
3 ) awarding the work preferred by the public.
The fifteen finalists will be given the opportunity to exhibit the work presented in competition at the Family Banker Office of Banca Mediolanum Montecatini Terme from 07/01/2014 to 04/09/2014
Prizes for first place :
1 ) A plaque
2 ) Solo Exhibition at the Family Banker Office of Banca Mediolanum in Montecatini Terme
3 ) Critical text of the technical panel with the reasons for the award
4 ) Interview and publication of newspapers and websites
5 ) Implementation of a service of Tuscany tv under heading ' Meet the Art '
6) A t-shirt with print work by the company Fuorionda
N.B. The winning work will be retained by the sponsor and placed in the Collection of the office of the Family Banker Office of Banca Mediolanum
Awards for favorite work from the audience:
1 ) License Plate
2 ) A t-shirt with printing of company Fuorionda
Both awards will take place at the Vernissage of the exhibition that will be held on 01/07/2014
Article 10 : THE JURY
The members of the Jury of the organizational and technical panel are selected from the Family Banker Office , in its sole judgment among representatives of the institutions, art, culture and business.
The organizational Jury , chaired by the Director of the group Gianluca Rafanelli , consists of:
- Ledo Fabbri, manager of artists and exhibition curator
- Matilde Calamai , author and artist
- Melani Letizia , event organizer
- Marco Rindori artist
The Technical Jury is composed of:
Daniela - Pronesti , history and art criticism
- Roberta Fiorini , history and art criticism
The Panel's decision shall be final and not subject to appeal in any home.
Section 11 : TRANSPORT AND EQUIPMENT
The fifteen (15) finalists are personally responsible for the shipment or delivery of the works not later than 27 /06 /2014 at the following address : Family Banker Office of Banca Mediolanum Corso Matteotti 109 Montecatini Terme.
The works must be already fitted with frames and hooks necessary to the exhibition will be curated by the organizers of the competition.
Mode , transportation costs and any insurance of the works shall be borne by the artist and discretion , both for delivery and for the return.
The deadline for the withdrawal of the works at the end of the exhibition is Friday, 09/04/2014 . After this date, the works will be deposited in the box rent paid by the artist .
Article 12 : RESPONSIBILITY
The Family Banker Office of Banca Mediolanum while ensuring the utmost care and custody of the works , disclaims any liability for any theft, fire, or damage of any nature that may occur during the event.
Any insurance request will be signed and is paid by the artist himself.
Article 13 : CONSENT
Each participant expressly authorizes the Family Banker Office of Banca Mediolanum Montecatini Terme to process personal data transmitted pursuant to Law 675 /96 ( " Privacy Act " ) , as amended D.lgs.196/2003 ( Privacy Code ) .
Each entrant grants for free in the Family Banker Offices rights to reproduce works and texts in the Award , for the purpose of publication on the website and other forms of communication, promotion and activities of the organization .
The material submitted for entry will not be returned .
The competition organizers will have the right of final decision on all matters not specified in this announcement.
The organization reserves the right to make changes to the notice if and when the need arises.
Membership and participation in the prize implies the unconditional acceptance of all items of this announcement and the irrevocable decisions of the Jury.
