A new exhibition opens at the Spazio Transiti created by the Florentine entrepreneur Leonardo Ferragamo in the port of Marina di Scarlino, one of the most reputable landing points in the Tuscan Maremma. TRAVELLINGAWAY festival (27 July-27 August 2013) is a reflection on the theme of travel, interpreted as a false movement, a condition of peripatetic existence, a metaphor for a new optical evaluation and change of perspective, but also a way to discover and (re) discovery, landings or returns, connected to the themes of diaspora and migration. At the end of July, Velasco Vitali will occupy with his works the pier with some of his famous dogs in the halls of iron and Spazio Transiti will present unpublished plates made as illustrations for the book ‘In the Belly’ by Sergio Claudio Perroni (Simon and Schuster, Necklace Storytellers Italian). Beside his works, the sculptress Daniela Novello, Award winner in past editions of San Fedele Prize, the painter of Lecco, Nicola Villa, author of works always hovering between reality and imagination, populated by figures in permanent suspesion, and the photographer Renzo Milanese Church known for its historical portraits of artists and musicians (Arman, David Hockney, from Jimi Hendrix to Mick Jagger).
