Marinella Senatore-Visual Arts Biennial

Marinella Senatore, finalist in the Video & Animation category of
Celeste Prize 2010 http://www.celesteprize.com/marinellasenatore has
been selected by Bice Curiger, curator of the 54ª Visual Arts Biennial
in Venice, for the opening show 'ILLUMInations.'

Marinella will also show until 17 July 2011 at the fourth edition of the
Biennale 'Young Monza', hosted in Serrone of Villa Reale in Monza.
Marinella is one of 30 artists on exhibition who will compare poetics of
new generations coming from Italy and South Korea (latter is host nation
of this edition). Her work is poised between painting, photography,
video, and cinema, emphasizing her multifaceted training. Public
participation, especially in recent years, has become a constant in her
work, where the viewer becomes the participant, set designer, technical
writer, or producer.

Marinella lives and works in New York and Madrid.
