On Friday 5th October at Dino Morra Contemporary Art gallery will open the exhibition of Cristina Gardumi entitled Girlbook / Boybook, edited by Chiara Pirozzi.
Painter, designer, performer and actress, the face eclectic is the hallmark of Cristina Gardumi.
The search for creative young artist explores the modes of expression of the design and the possibilities arising from the creation of stories told through the construction of stories through images. Through the use of the sign, sometimes faded and other liquid thin and sharp, Cristina Gardumi stages impulses, passions and carnal feelings from the fusion between man and beast.
Girlgook / Boybook is the latest and unprecedented project created specifically for the gallery space, in which the artist explores the intimacy and charm of masculinity and femininity as their immutable characteristics, both interpreted in their present itself from time to time as subjects or objects in their mutual interaction.
The artist is able to draw up a narrative that leaves open the viewer the opportunity to freely create links between unrelated pages of books.
The designs of Cristina Gardumi are indicative of a deep and personal at the same time, is the bearer of history and collective sentiments able to return to man the fullness of visceral impulses more authentic.
