BIENNALE AUSTRIA association invites you to "BA SPRING pop-up" from 13th to 19th February 2017 which takes place at Gallery AUSSTELLUNGSRAUM , Gumpendorfer Strasse 23, 1060 Vienna, Austria.
During this week, 21 artists from Egypt, Brazil, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, USA and Austria will present a very small selection of their artistic work.

Short information about the artists:
EUGENIO AZZOLA, author, musician, painter and photographer was born in Pontefract, Italy and lives in Villach. His search for artistic expressions has aroused his passion for painting and photography, and he often connects both media in his works.
HERBERT BAUER, visual artist and graphic artist lives in Schladming. His passion is the graphite pencil and the tempera painting. His surrealist works are internationally highly appreciated. As an artist he was awarded with the Goldene Ehrenzeichen des Landes Steiermark. He is a member of BIENNALE AUSTRIA association.
ALESSANDRA BISI, visual artist from Milan, Italy studied painting at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera (Milan) and design at the Institute of Arts and Sciences Communication in Milan. Since 1995 she experienced international exhibition activity. Her abstract compositions are the result of an almost personal linguistic research.
ADMIRA BRADARIC, visual artist and restorer from Bosnia-Herzegovina studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo and at the Academy of Applied Arts in Vienna. She unites the incompatible in her artworks through the use of various techniques. She is a member of BIENNALE AUSTRIA association.
PASCAL DOROTHEE, photographer, lives and works in Vaucresson/France. At the age of 13 he started already to deal with audiovisual techniques, studied the ancient technique of silver photography. His focus lies on expressing his sensitivity, immortalizing moments and transcribing emotions taking his impressions from various journeys around the globe and Europe. He is exhibiting nationally and internationally.
EDDI, Visual artist, lives in Linz. He is, inter alia, Member of the European Art Circle of France and member of the Free Art Association South Bohemia. His paintings and graphics lead into fantastic, expressive, erotic and surreal worlds.
DARIUS FOROUTAN, visual artist and architect was born in Vienna. He spent his childhood and youth in Vienna, the Waldviertel and Tehran (Iran). Since 1992 he has worked as an architect, from 1998 to 2006 with Hans Hollein, and as freelance artist. The most important elements in his works are the buildup, the composition and the conscious design. He is a member of BIENNALE AUSTRIA association.
GAZMEND FREITAG, painter and graphic artist was born in Pataqani i Poshtëm, Kosovo and lives in Linz. In his work, full of life, he puts people and scenes into the light with powerful brush strokes and colors. It is a member of Verein Kunstprojekte Wien.
MICHAEL GERSTL, stone sculptor and painter lives in Obernzell, Germany and graduated as a stonemason and stone sculptor. His second passion is painting. His surrealistic, narrative pictures are made with enormous dedication.
INGRID HALTER, lapidary and painter lives in St. Peter / Au, Lower Austria. In their colorful, brilliant paintings her love for precious stones resonates with the incorporation of the geometric, crystalline structure and the finest color nuances.
CLAUDIA HIDDEMANN-HOLTHOFF, visual artist lives in Dortmund, Germany. She pursues her passion for portrait painting, and in her involvement with current issues she is particularly and sincerely focused on the social changes. She is a member of the BIENNALE AUSTRIA association.
BOZENA KORMOUT, painter, was born in Krakow, Poland and lives in Vienna. Her affectation for nude and portrait painting is her preference. She is a member of the Verein Kunstprojekte Wien.
GERLINDE KOSINA, visual artist lives in Vienna. Her urban and landscape paintings have already received several international awards. Her passionate color compositions merge visible and invisible worlds. She is a member of BIENNALE AUSTRIA association.
REGINA MERTA, visual artist lives in Vienna and Lower Austria. Her dynamic, multifaceted works have been internationally highly appreciated since many years. DOMINGO PARADA, visual artist was born in Bolivia and currently lives in Aurora, Illinois, USA. He studied at the "Universidad de San Francisco Xavier of Sucre" in Sucre, Bolivia and at the master class of Ivan Serpa in the Museo de Arte Moderna of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. As one of the leading Bolivian artists, his work is represented in many public and private collections worldwide.
HELGA-ANNA PUCHNER, painting coach and enthusiastic autodidact lives in St. Pölten, Lower Austria. In her paintings, she shows the desire for experiment and an unpretentious approach in form and expression. She is a member of the Verein Kunstprojekte Wien.
ROSANGELA SCHEITHAUER, visual artist was born in Brazil and currently lives in Vienna. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in London and Milan. She has not devoted herself to any style, but tries to speak a multifaceted language with her artwork.
SOHA YEHIA ABOU HUSSEIN , painter and video artist lives and works in Cairo/Egypt. He studied and graduated at the American University in Cairo and Digital Art at NABA in Milan/Italy.
