FRANCESCA Romio was born in 1979 in Vicenza. He attended a technical school to address experimental artistic " SBBoscardin " graduating in 1998 and then continued his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna later left for the felt need to travel and meet new cultures.
The first approach takes strong in 2002 in Australia contact with Aboriginal culture that encourages staff to begin an introspective journey .
In 2005 he obtained the certificate of operating architectural restoration in Vicenza (an activity that still plays ) that allows you to spend eleven months in Barcelona, lively Catalan city . Here comes into contact with the reality of the artists who gravitate around the CCCB . He lives in this period, the magical artistic reality left by Gaudí and Botero.
His artistic career is abnormal. The first expression occurs with abstract art with very simple shapes . Then, after a trip to Senegal in 2008, undergoes a strong inner change that goes to work on herself expressing conceptual art using various methods and always keeping a basic painting technique (see " Sitting in the back of a donkey with explosion rubies "). These means allow it to blow up all his emotions up to the great transformation back to basics with the re-use of oil paint . The artist thus begins a new path , the result of a decade of varied experience , approaching the study of the soul of the people through portraits (see " Woman # Anna " and " Mona # Viviana " ) , studying the people and returning to ' essential.
The artist continues his research through the use of objective data from the photograph.
Over the past four years he has participated in various group exhibitions in Italy : Rome, Palermo , Vicenza, Caserta and abroad : London at Bricklane Gallery with the works " Crew" and "Not until_1 " , New York ( c / o Long Island ) with the photographic work " Uuuuu " and Miami (c / o SCOPE Pavilion Ocean Drive, Miami Beach) with the photographic work "No to violence against women. Ever so . "
