Given the large number of works presented for selection for 'dependtendency', the panel of critics making selections has asked for a few more days to complete their work.

Cultural interdependence is the theme for an exhibition during the 53rd Visual Arts Biennal in Venice in June.

Celeste is organising a unique exhibition, separate from the Celeste Prize, on a relevant theme which affects us all: a growing inter-dependence between nations and cultures is a reality which is having dramatic effects on our lives. Celeste proposes an exhibition of works in any media on this theme.

‘ Dependtendency’ is:

• an open-call to artists without limits of age, sex or qualification
• entries by 30 April 2009
• upload work online, submission fee 30 €
• selection by a panel of critics of international renown
• works will be exhibited in the park of the Isola della Certosa, an island right infront of the Arsenale area.
