Chaos or Freedom ?

Painting, Political / Social, Pencil, 59x42cm
This work is a surrealistic or an exagerated representation of economic and social problems nowadays and the future consequences of these.

It is just a reflection.

Being represented in a bit sarcastic way, we can conclude that in that part of the drawing none of coins is gained by this poor society, because none of the elements has a way of grabbing them.

P.S. I´m sorry about the "wall text" but it was the only way to explain it better.

We can notice the morphology of these last ones that, with nothing to grab with its hands, the evolution contributes to the existence of one finger only.

At the top, the figure leans its head in a resty way and puts its mind asleep over a pack of notes that seem to us as wings that help it to fly far away with its” treasure”.
In a greedy way, this figure only leaves the 4 remaining coins, to “poor society” that has nothing and that fights for survival until its very limit.

These fingers grab the planet Earth, which, already empty from human race, drops the oil from its inside, owing to the pressure done by this figure with the aim of avoiding the escape of that oil.

On the first one it is represented a body with a non expressive human shape, build from a shinny plastic texture that ends with two fingers only-being the humans nowadays so dependent on the technology and being this one more and more tactile, they would arrive at a stage where they would only need to press and round buttons to satisfy their needs at any level-with very shinny nails highlighting vanity often associated to luxury and wealth.

We can see two opposite sides: luxury, ostentation, the grief for power, on the right side of the panel and on the left side, the lack of natural and basic resources needed for human race survival.

I have decided to represent-in an exaggerated and surrealistic way-the evolution of nowadays man, the way we see him today and his drastic “end”.

The social discontentment has always existed in the human history but nowadays it is shown in some events that may lead to bad consequences.
