Metamorphotos, Fallen Angel
In this series of self portraits I have tried to interpret the path to the creation and affirmation of the Self, which leads an individual to decide his own destiny.
The body becomes a metaphor for a soul in tension, through its movements and dynamic poses.
The human figure is trying to find his form. He is surrounded by chaos, the fluid and abstract matter, and tries to emerge from this ambience.
The matter is shaped according to the gestures and thought, but in turn it affects the person. It represents the boundary with which to confront and which causes actions and changes.
The shape of body and the matter merge together in one, in a vital form made of energy and movement.
