Chariots of Fire

I am interested in the materiality of paint and its relationship with the support by the touch of the brush. To me the touch of the brush on the support is important as we live in a faceless world of emails and text messages. I place my work within the context of abstract expressionism and have been inspired by De Kooning, Pollock, Rymand and Guston among others.
