Hanged woman

In this installation, the canvas plays the main role in the creation of forms. The color is white: absolute, pure, essential and synthetic, that doesn’t create a form and doesn’t express a sensation or an emotion.
Since I use the three essential elements of a painting (canvas, frame and color), I exhibit the frame, which not only gives structure, but participates in the general composition of the work. In this way, a painting turns into an object between painting and sculpture: an installation.
The result is a figure, that like a dress covers and at the same time discovers, close to another form that remind the human body and its interior organs. A "canvas dressed”, that takes form, between matter and energy.
