Evidentemente lento - Obviously slow

John William Waterhouse ( 1849 - 1917), is one of my favourite beloved Pre- Raphaelites painters. Ophelia will kill herself and meanwhile she will kill Hamlet forever, darkende by his ghost. She will punish herself by punisghing the other, and it is not possible to consider her a victim, a passive victim of circumstances.
In this display case Ophelia is the maiden at the window with the little duckies. In the background there's a plan that suggests she's been encompassed in a more large and overwhelming drawing: from the inside she looks out the window and gets ready to face the contingencies, patiently, slowly. Suavely she fixes to pay cash her love.
Although Ophelia in the display case is placed in a room, at her feet little duckies slide, floating on the waters that will be har tomb. The little duckies forecast her Fate and are waiting for her to come. Outside the window the traffic is slowly flowing, obviuosly slow.
