Islam

Islam is the name of this installation which has a form that reminds the figure of women in many Arabian countries.
It is made with fabric, plaster and acrylic. It's size is that of an adult woman.
The “abaya” is the dress that many Islamic women wear , it is often black , but in this case I decided to paint it white, because it is the color that symbolizes transformation in many cultures and traditions and it's the symbol of peace, tranquility and purity.
