Infanzia

The work was designed using a program that manages the illustration in vector (illustrator cs3)
and then using a water jet machine, were cut out various shapes with three different
types of marble and then reassemble it together to form the figure of Super Mario in the first version of the
videogame dedicated to this character. The choice is not random, Mario rapresent the childhood
of my generation but, when it was born, it was also the infancy of a new generation of videogames. Propose it in the pixel format, but carved in marble, represents a new way to approach
marble sculpture starting from a multimedia base, then simply is like a new childood of the communication.
