Crogiuolo

Sculpture, Animal, 200x150x180cm
"Crucible" is part of Terramara, a series of works inspired by the seven deadly sins, a review of the vetoes of religion ... are bound to earthly life, his "pleasure" and his "insatiable hunger" ... but every sin, small, can be charged with positive
The iron structure refers to the shape of an insect, attached to the ground with his legs spindly, with a body-cocoon for this sin, sloth, opens in a cavity full of dry leaves and branches, the animal remains blocked by his own painting and gives off a scent of wormwood.
This book is a look that contrasts with the action on the stasis, in nature as in human life. It 's the "autumn" of every aspect of life that brings a halt to regenerate, hence the title. The crucible is that object which is indicated by the cable I CHING as a container in which the ingredients mingle and ferment.
