CLASSIFIED ADVERTS
Installation, Political / Social, 70x100cm
in 2010 I sent several ads to the newspaper for classified ads, Bazaar, 4 have been published which I then scanned and printed, the poetry of this work and printed ads are the followings:
In a society that is increasingly ruled by consumer politics, the last place where we can express our distress, where we can hope our cries will be heard by somebody, seems to be the weekly classified adverts. As symbols of our broken dreams, disappointed hopes, selling second-hand dreams and hopeless hearts isn't an uncommon action at all.
Soul still in good shape and in original packaging offered at interesting price. Will consider a swap with solid hopes.
Due to a transfer, a perfectly functioning heart at a good price. Still reliable but tends towards falling in love and an interest for lost causes and false hopes.
Due to unexpected clash with reality, am selling for a bargain still functioning dreams with a few scratches and a couple of dents. Will consider a swap for dreams of equal value.
Due to erroneous purchase, am selling hopes with no returns. Never used, brand new, still under warranty. As they are generic they can be used in various situations- both professional and personal.

comunque a parte gli scherzi, si, esistono fin troppi che l'anima se la sono venduta, e li vediamo tutti i giorni, sono i grigi, quelle persona in doppio petto, con 24 ore, auto blu e scorta al seguito
quando ho spiegato che in realtà era un performance anrtistica però si sono dimostrati molto comprensibili
