The Philippines were ruled by the Spanish for more than 300 years and for decades, controlled by the Americans. The Philippines is the most Christianized nation in East Asia with the most Americanized education.
This artwork is my attempt to reclaim my indigenous language, culture, beliefs and practices by not abandoning my western education and culture that already injected into my vein and brain since I start taking my school and church education.
